The tube is a funny place. Everyone seems to always be in a great hurry and no one ever talks or looks at one another unless it’s absolutely necessary. If someone is standing on the left side of a escalator, which is the “passing lane” then there will definitely be an unpleasant interaction “Stand to the right!”. Yes, it’s true, the Brits aren’t always polite. Mostly though, people are either reading something (usually the local free paper called The Metro) or staring at any blank spot they can find on the train wall. Which is quite difficult during rush hour as the carriages become tightly packed with bodies.
I took this while I was down there yesterday. Then my battery ran out.

Well, Keith is out of hospital and back home. He’s a wildly popular person in Salem. Did you know that? Anyway, his friends are spoiling him rotten. hee!
Since the rupture happened, he was put on I.V. antibiotics, but now just has to take a few tablets every few hours or so. He’ll be fine.

I’m glad he’s fine. Not ready to bury him just yet!
